Berit Lange is a German epidemiologist and head of clinical epidemiology at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI). After studying medicine in Germany and other countries, she worked as a physician for internal medicine and infectious diseases at the University of Freiburg. In 2013, Lange completed her master’s degree in epidemiology in London. She then returned to Freiburg and led a research group on infectious disease epidemiology and global health for two years, among other positions. Since 2019, Lange has been a research associate at the HZI in Braunschweig.
